Remember those times......
Who was the first person you saw when you open your eyes? Who brought you to this world? Who held your hand and taught you how to walk? Who gave you pocket money because they were afraid you will go hungry? Who comforted you when you failed your tests? Who tried to push up your grades? Who earn money to put the bacon on the table? Who pays for your school fees and pump in money if you want to set up a buisness? Who stood up for you when you was bullied? They are the most noble people in the world- your beloved parents.
Will you repay them? Will you be fifial and give in to them? Will you listen to them? Or will you just leave them in the lurch and put them in the old folk's home or even worst- throw them on the roadside when they are old and slowly await for death?
Today, Jane came to my house to do project and after that we went to a nearby playground to play. She asked me to send her home because the previous time, she got lost. So I did. We went for a long time, and I wondered if my parents were worried about me. When I reached the doorstep, my father gave me the keys and asked me why did I take so long to come back. Then my mum did too and gave me a scolding. But I was more than happy to know- they cared about me.
Once, while I was a little primary 2 student, I went out to my friend's house a while, and shortly after I left, my mum called my friend's house and my friend's grandmother told her I just left and she almost called the police! That time, my father was at work, but I knew he cared about me.
Parents will stand by you no matter what happens and there is no fair weather parents. All daddies and mummies love their child, no matter how they show their care.....
