Yesterday I visited haw par villa. Because it rained, there was hardly anyone there., but I held an umbrella. This park is named after 2 brothers: Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par. Haw Par Villa used to be their home. And they gave it up to incalcate values to people. Here is a picture of the layout of their mansion.Yesterday I visited haw par villa. At the entrance, there was a figurine of a snake, sheep and tiger.

The snake wanted to eat the sheep, but never did it realised that a tiger was behind it. Then, next to them, there was a figurine of a man holding a walking stick and pointing to the enterance.

He wanted to guide people to the correct path.Then there was a man feeding sheeps.

I don't know what this represents. And there was the " pig master" (Zhu ba jie)... Very cute leh! Together with a dragon.

Then we walked further into the 10 courts of hell. They charged us $3. For 2 adults and 2 kids.At the enterance, I saw a lot of skulls with blood. My mum says they are skulls who don't know which court to go. Then on top was this sign:

Guarding the ten courts of hell are a horse and a ox.

In the 1st court of hell,there is a judge holfding a pencil and writing on a book. He is known to record all good and bad deeds you have done in your life.

Beside him, or rather opposite him, there is the sliver bridge linking from the moral world to hell. Wwhen you are passing it, you can see every thing you have did in your life.

In the 2nd court of hell, you will be punished by being thrown into a volcano or being thrown into icy cold water.

In the 3rd court of hell, they chop up your body as punishments.

Eeee! I didn't want to post any more pictures of the 3rd court....
In the 4th court of hell, the punishment is being thown into a hill of knives.

In the 5th court, I didn't take any photos, but the punishment is cutting off your tongue. EEEEEEEE!
In the 6th court of hell, the punishment is being thrown up a tree of knives.

In the 7th court of hell, the punishment is digging out your organs. EEEEEEEEEE!

In the 8th court of hell, the punishment is err.. I forgot sorry.
In the 9th court of hell, the punishment is being crushed under boulders.

And in the last court of hell, the judge sits there and tells you what you are going to be in your next life.

Opposite him is the meng-po, which offers a drink to you, a special drink which makes you completely forget about your previous life.
The infomation I gave might be wrong, because I'm not a superkid that can remember everything ! Its better that you visit it yourself so you will think twice before you do any evil things like Mojo Jojo! I'll post on another day the rest of the trip!
